Well-designed and equipped libraries strongly enhance the pursuit of valid intellectual inquiry and, as a result, the University of Reston Library is designed to ensure that its faculty, staff and students have consistent access to appropriate, timely and wide-ranging informational resources meeting their research and general data needs.
This is done by combining traditional library support consisting of reference resources, printed books and other materials with modern library services and technologies such as internet-connected computers, online databases and printers plus electronically conducted interlibrary loans.
The University of Reston’s online library is available 24 hours, seven days a week. University of Reston Library offers a wide range of services for the UR community, from borrowing and renewal to study rooms, scholarly communication and electronic theses and dissertations. Students are encouraged to seek assistance through local libraries of Fairfax county including those located in Reston and Herndon for additional resources.
