Academic integrity is a fundamental value upon which University of Reston core set of values and principles are built upon.
Students and faculty alike must obey rules of honest scholarship, integrity, honesty, hard work, and the determination to translate personal and professional principles into behavior. This means that all academic work should result from an individual’s own efforts and hard work.
Because integrity is essential to our community, we hold very high expectations for every graduate. Furthermore, we recognize that academic dishonesty detracts from the value of our degree. Therefore, we shall not tolerate lying, cheating or stealing in any form. As members of our academic community, graduate students should be aware and willing to abide by our standards, including both academic and personal conduct.
