The University of Reston requires all applicants to have previously earned in their respective B.A. program a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale for enrollment.

Experience suggests that applicants entering academic graduate degree programs with this minimal CGPA are more likely to be successful in their respective programs of study.

CGPA alone is not the only indicator of graduate-level academic success and so other factors such as professional experience may be valid and reliable indicators of their potential future achievement.

Each matriculated student must fully satisfy their specific graduate degree-related academic requirements set forth by the University of Reston before their respective degree can be conferred. Specifically, The University of Reston requires each student to satisfactorily complete all required courses in their respective program with a minimum GPA of 3.0 for a total of 36 credit hours before their MBA, MCS or MSIS degree will be awarded.
